We are looking for a creative, proactive, and results-oriented Junior Marketing Officer to support the growth of our ERP and business software solutions.
The role involves market research, brand development, marketing campaigns, customer engagement, and lead generation. The ideal candidate takes initiative, enjoys learning, and can adapt to a fast-growing startup environment
Key Responsibilities
- Research market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify business opportunities.
- Develop and execute marketing plans and campaigns to promote our products and strengthen brand awareness.
- Prepare marketing materials, product presentations, proposals, and promotional content.
- Identify potential customers, generate leads, and maintain consistent customer communication and follow-ups.
- Organize and participate in product demonstrations, exhibitions, and networking events.
- Monitor marketing performance, report results, and recommend improvements.
- Collaborate with the team to align marketing activities with business objectives.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field, with 1–2 years of relevant experience. Fresh graduates with strong potential are encouraged to apply.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills in English and Amharic, with the ability to engage customers professionally.
- Good understanding of marketing principles, market research, and customer needs, combined with creativity and analytical thinking.
- Proactive attitude, strong sense of ownership, accountability, and willingness to learn.
- Ability to manage tasks independently, work with targets, solve problems, and adapt to a fast-moving startup environment.
- Genuine interest in technology and business software. Knowledge of ERP, POS, accounting, or business management systems is an advantage.
- Familiarity with marketing, content creation, and CRM tools is an advantage.
